I have purchased 2 NOE buckets from sporty/dyna's and will be installing 5 3/4"  Daymaker's for REX & the Purple People Eater.
Let there be light !

What is an "NOE bucket"?

Bucket:  The housing that holds the light

NOE:  New, but old inventory

That's a term I'd never heard of, either.  In classic car restoration, it's called NOS, or "new"-old stock.

You are correct, I had a senior moment apparently.
It is NOS, not NOE.

There is an NOE term and it seems like it was in the military.
I am thinking it was for "Nap Of the Earth", which is a type of flying when staying as low as possible while following the terrain, in order to avoid detection or evading enemy fire.

I don't ride at night, so the standard S40 front lighting is sufficient for my needs (here).   That said, I would be interested in improving taillight/ brake light visibility to the rear.... A major increase in candle power when I am on the brakes is what is needed.....

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

Nap of the Earth is what dead people do.
MAP of the Earth is under the radar autopilot.

It's low and fast and if the pilot decides to
Help the plane fly, he winds up taking a
Nap of the Earth.
