How can a university square their actions with the goal that teaching is all about gathering and discerning information in a manner that should produce facts, or truth?
If you deny challenge to ANY perceived truth, or belief, how does that strengthen your argument or belief?

Is any belief good if it produces fear upon which you must act upon others to quell it?

I have shared many times, Trump represents a symptom of what you call the "world", of their intolerance.
You give much credence to movements with assigning it value based on your beliefs and perspectives, a real forest through the tree scenario.
You once stated if a person was so removed from witnessing the US happenings for a year or so, they would have hard time discerning who won the election......
I agree, most folks live life on its own daily in a manner that does not involve them getting into political or social warfare.
You use Trump as some sort of bellwether to justify actions, and don't see that it runs counter to your desires.
It is no different than the religious right using biblical sin out of context to arm themselves into actions in the political and social arena.
Both believe their cause just, but fail to see they use the same rationale to justify that of which they find fault in others.
It's like a person who never loses an argument, in their mind.
They live a life seeing only challenges, not opportunities....

Who shall be the first to lay aside hate, perhaps even being a victim to death, so others can see the real effects of the needing to be right?

I am certain, someday, man will find he was wrong.
He will see it is better to give, than to take, but in doing so, he will receive.
He will find it was him, who withheld love for others at the cost of denying love for himself.
That pride offered nothing, but assured failure, when that was the only reason they had to continue.
