Having been born and raised in SoCal, my kids still living there, I see much truth in lots of what they say.
I told of my last trip down, I think it was, about the Trump support I saw prior to the election in my extended Hispanic relatives in my wife's side, and those that my kids married into.
Of course wiser folk here called me fool and it didn't count for chit  
There is an underreporting of support for Trump, and highlighting of against stories.
Some of these enclaves of liberalism where these folks advising Trump are from are steep in intellectual one sided jungles, where tolerance does NOT exsist, or appreciated, at all cost...
