Winter Bobber Project
04/15/17 at 10:35:06

I started this last fall while I was away from home.  Since I got back I've been working slowly, but it's coming around.  I know there was a few people asking how I was going to mount the spring seat without modifying the frame.  Here's a few pic's and how I did it.  Basically, I bent the factory seat mounts and bolted a 2" spring to the mount then the seat, after that I mounted the front using longer bolts to the rear gas tank mount.  It doesn't have a lot of spring, but it works.  I'm still working on it, but it's slowly coming around.

Seat up close, I still need to fabricate something to cover up the wiring, but again it's a slow project.
