It's ALIVE!
03/12/17 at 12:57:47

After being "stored" outside uncovered for six years, the mighty Savage is running again! Engine was seized, water in everything, wasp nests, mud robbers, and spiders in every nook. Still got a way to go before working on cosmetics. Today, my son and I got the front brake working strong and no leaks. Fuel tap not working right, so going with Raptor replacement. Should be on the road by end of March.

Good job.  It's always gratifying to bring one back to life.

Nope, no project here. Just a little tuning, recover the seat, wrap the pipe, and maybe paint. Oh, and throw on some saddlebags i've got laying around.

Good on ya Capt'n. But seeing you have that many bikes, how do you decide which one you are going to ride on any given day? Huh

I know plenty of guys that have said that! The "To-Do" list never ends. Once in the blood, always in the blood!

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

Which bike to ride? That's easy...
The K16 is the only thing that will keep up with my brother.
The Wing has heated seat and grips--only ride for cold weather.
The Dyna is a test of faith. Ride an hour, work on it an hour. Fair exchange.
The Intruder is for riding to work, except in the rain.
The Mighty Savage might replace the Intruder as every day ride. We'll see.
