More wood to the fire......
01/19/17 at 04:25:53

I disagree with this persons assessment.
I believe it would not bring health to the commonwealth, no, but add another layer of seperations, distrust, anger.

I think the degree to which politics is played at this elevation escapes even the most seasoned observers.....
It's ruthless and ugly, and yes, criminal in many aspects, but nothing new.

I believe Comey knew this and decided accordingly, as it would then reveal the corruption our system has evolved to......

Let's not extend that by continuing the same partisan maneuvering.

Someone has to lay down the sword, I hope it's Trump.
Let the Clinton's go......
If we get really honest here, they are victims too, of how F'd up our system has become.

Please, don't give me a list of their crimes, I get that, I am not condoning it.....
I am saying, let's move on.
Someone has to take that first step and lead.

If it's Trump, let him.

Bottom line, the people stood. The system worked, barely.
It kept the pinnacle, the apex, from achieving its final straw upon the camels back.....
Time to off load it and set it free.

How do you pardon someone who hasn't actually been convicted of a crime?

,
I don't know.....
If you read the article, this man with a degree, and having been employed in its capacity, says the rule exsist.

you can pardon someone who hasn't been convicted of a crime.  Ford did so for Nixon when he took over.  Although doing so would imply the guilt of that individual, which I think is why he will not do it.

Obama said he couldn't pardon Snowden until he had returned and faced the court. But, different people, different rules..

You guys, I admit, it would be purely a symbolism gesture on Trumps part....
But I hope he does it!

Fact, I hope he does it tomorrow at the inauguration, why she is sitting there paying her respect to the office.
Not sure I could show my face and rise above my own self pity if I was in her shoes....

I can understand, a pardon, before a crime.
What I don’t understand,  ‘What’, crime?
Is it a ‘crime’, which  the public, believes,
is it a crime, some agency believes,
It can’t be something to the specifics, of what a procurator would lay out, as their has been no ‘ prosecution’.
So  I think such a document would take some time, (AND Paper), to lay out all the possibilities.

Then, which one?
Does one have to name a thing, or several things?
If you get a pardon, on one thing, can you be charged with another thing,
(that is close)

Say you are pardoned for murder,  (haven’t done it),
can you walk out in the street, and in front of a bunch of people do it. ?

Can you do it, (the pardoned crime), again?
(if the pardon is, Not, specific enough)

Lots of questions.
But ya, A  Pardon,
says in 99% of peoples minds, that the person was guilty,
of the crime he/she was pardoned for.
Whether or not she was charged, or convicted, of such.

Here, something like this.......

He walks over to the Clinton's, shakes Bill's hand and ask Hillary if he may ask for the privilege of calling on them for advice.
Of course they will agree.
He then ask her if she will forgive him for some of his words, actions, during the campaign....
Of course she will forgive him.
He then ask if he may give her a hug...
She agrees.

He then turns to the audience and declares the past, is past.
We need not bring all of its baggage forward.
The slate is clean, as one nation, we will all prosper, together.
I pledge no person in my administration will forward, what transpired in the past with regard to this election.
We all start anew, today.

Something like that. Not a legalistic pardon, per se, but a pledge.
I think he could start a new understanding, if he did.
Lots of folks emotions are stilled wound up tightly, perhaps it would loosen its grip some..... I dunno.

There will be the zealots, on both sides, extremist who will never realize their erroring....
We can't really help them, the ball is in their own court.

Ya Know,  that, ‘would’,  be great.
If Trump would, ‘give’, and  Hillary, would, ‘Take’.

But I believe, that  Just would never happen.
From  the,  “Observed  Reality”,  from this Forum,
and the F.B.   (DOG) page I visit about each week.
And the,  ‘Media’ , reports.
And the, ‘Riots’.

Great Idea,  (Probably  NOT   Gonna  Happen though)

UN,  Like, when  Reagan took Office,  and  Just After,
the, ‘Hostage Takers’,  said,  ’They wanted to talk’,
(After  Carter  had been  ’talking’ to them for a  LONG  while, and  NOTHING)
Reagan, let  Carter,  ‘Close the Deal’.
