I read this story, twice.

It escapes me Undecided

I have already benefited by the stock market uptick.
I never touched my money when the "sky was falling", even tho I had lost a good chunk of it.
All recovered and growing well.

BTW, all my investments are via "pretax" dollars, so I do have the luxury of not getting dinged twice of losing markets/portfolio.

But reading this guys article makes me think he just said, "Its business as usual"

Not sure if that is what the Trumpers voted for Shocked

- The wall?.. well, maybe some wall, some fence, or just enforcement... and Mexico won't pay for it.
- Bring back waterboarding?.. well, no... Some general just told me that don't work...
- Obamacare?.. well, we'll keep parts of it, maybe change some parts...
- The UN?... We will support all our obligations, and work with the UN...
- Muslims?... Well,.. we won't ban them, or restrict them... maybe just keep an eye on the one's we suspect might be trouble, and vet immigrants (much like we already do)...
- Illegal Mexicans?... we will deport criminals if we find any, then work out something to get the others a path to citizenship (much like Obama has been asking to do for years)...
- Hillary?... I won't prosecute (turns out, Presidents can't do that).. besides, she's a good person and has been through enough anyway...

Let's just stay the course, and make America great again with happy thoughts... Huh

Maybe he should get Obama as chief advisor, and he can call him at MiraLago if anything important comes up...

In every election when it comes down to the major two, it always ends up with both sides "demonizing" the other. Meanwhile, Trump is starting to act more like a President should. I'll give him the usual six month "honeymoon " trial to see how he does. But it feels like 1980 to me all over again with Reagan as the new. I just hope we don't get the recession like in '83-'84 again, as well.
