Water cooler talk at work....

Been hearing some predictions, etc, at work regarding the state of politics.
Just to remind you, I work in the biggest union shop in the state, which the union recommended Hillary.
But the rank and file went for Trump..
Anyway, the scuttlebutt is if the democrats dog Trump with partisan games, etc.
And the media keeps playing race, etc, that it will give the repubs 5 to 10 more senate seats in 2 years.

I have never heard so much talk and energy focused on changing the current political games.
Not sure if it will last, but whatever it is that is driving this groundswell, I don't think it's going away soon.
Remember, this is Washington, a pretty solid democrat state, Hillary got it votes, unlike some states that vote for senators in midterm that have democrat senators, voted Obama last go around, but Trump this last election, I think the so called rust belt states.....

Missouri just elected a Governor with zero political office experience, zero. Former Navy Seal who ran a tech business. I think you'll see more of this and will be interesting to see how it turns out.

As they say, politics is Hollywood for ugly people which means it attracts the extreme narcissistic personalities. All successful business people i've dealt with have a certain level of narcissism most of the rest of us don't have. (frankly, it's a requirement) But lifelong politicians who try for the highest offices like Hilary or Mitt Romney for example, are off the narcissistic chart.

I'll keep tabs on our new Governor and see where this goals. My guess is, if successful, he'll be Presidential candidate in 8 years or so.
