Have you seen this list?

We can banter all we want here, doesn't seem to make any difference.
Its fun, I like it, but then again, I like speed bumps  Angry

I'll just post the link.
I think it would behoove all to read, or in the least, scan through it.
Regardless of how you feel about the revealing, etc, the facts of content remain the same.
If a priest/lawyer in confession learned about a deadly scheme, or a committed crime, doubly so if it involved us personally, I have no doubt we would welcome the breach for the greater cause of transparency.
And remember too, this new technology age of communication, is not a tape recorder no more, and all the technology fingerprints is just as valid as a recorded voice, and I am sure will be a big factor from now on in our world....

I say, all the more better.
As with dash cams in cop cars, we need accountability of those who can't seem to even frickin count!

"The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it."  George Orwell

George is so right, look at how those who "hate" turn it into actions by destroying and general mayhem.....dialogue be dammned

Who are those who 'hate', that you refer to?

Anyone who destroys property or restricts the free verbal expression of others.

Of course, what does that have to do with it?

It struck me that Orwell's was a strange quote to use (although it was in the link).
I presumed he was a bit 'Left-leaning' for your tastes  Huh

Well I try to eat/taste, one bite at a time. I find it is easier to savor the distinct flavors, or reject them, according to my preference....
But of course my meal is made up of many courses, and choices, that fill the plate.
To dismiss all of it based on one bite, of one offering, means I would miss desert  Grin

Not sure why folk need to pigeon hole folks based on their own prejudice, but I guess we all do to some effect...

I'm surprised that you (maybe) like Orwell, that's all.

My surprise doesn't come from the 'prejudice' that you refer to, but it comes from those 3600 posts, mainly in political threads, over the last couple of years.
Eclectic tastes are commendable, but if you don't want to miss desert...
I can find some sand for the pigeon hole.

Ouch, that hurts just thinking about it.  Grin

To be honest about it, I haven't dwelved much into Orwell, so it would be a mistake, or a misrepresentation, to say I know him well.
On the other hand I really liked your fellow Brit, "Hitch"....
I was sorry he passed to soon. Christopher was always a well dignified combatant, talking against belivers  Grin
I appreciated his honesty without scorn of contempt with his adversaries. The world needs more folk like him!
