DAPL engages hostile targets
10/28/16 at 09:30:38

Anyone following this pipeline?

An article on FB is saying they're using sound cannons, dogs, water hoses. Pictures show an amassing force of militarized units.
Haven't heard anything credible yet though.
I can barely find any coverage, actually.

I've seen quite a bit on facebook, but vary little in the news.
As long as they do it in the wilderness, media doesn't seem to care.

The cops don't seem to remember that they are used to being out gunned.

They are also throwing the book at 3 journalists for filming the protests.
conspiracy, trespassing and some other BS.  Kept them in jail w/out contact and other violations of their rights.

Thank God big oil doesn't control the US.  Some of the locals, Onondaga, have gone out West to support the Sioux (exact band I forgot).  If indeed the pipeline is running through Tribal land, the Tribes should have the final say.  I think that what a treaty is, a binding agreement. Grin

A Good friend, who is a  Plumber, (last 40 years), has a buddy in that area, who is a Plumber, Who works on the, 'Pipe Line'.
(A  Hunting Contact in that Area)

He told me. (In a garage logic session at his place),
One day his buddy, driving the back roads to work, came accost a lone car, with a  young gal standing alongside the road, with a  sign, 'Protesting'.   He stopped, and asked:  "What are you Protesting". She said: "I Don't Know, they just PAY  Me to Do This, and Give me a  Place to Stand"

Well he drove on to work.  Coming home, many miles of the lonely back road, he comes across her car, with the hood up, and her standing on the road. She flags him down and says:  "OMG, No-one is on this Road, I need  GAS".   He said:   "Sorry, no gas, pipeline is shut down".   And drove on.

Guess the people that, PAID  her to  PROTEST, did not pay enough so she could put Gas in her car.

Ben Franklin once said: "If you give up a freedom, for the sake of security, you will have neither".
Which is More TRUE, today, than yesterday.('06, S-40, Stock) well, mostly .
