Trouble idling
09/03/16 at 18:59:58

Last year did a total rebuild on carb, 55 pilot jet 150 main jet, white spacers.  Bike has just about a straight exhaust  Was running perfect.  A few weeks ago started acting like it was loading up at idle and would stall if you didn't stay on the gas.  Pulls great at speed but has started popping again when you back off the throttle.  I live at sea level and thought maybe to rich, but no problem last year?  Don't really get it.

Look for leaks, header to head, etc.

The stock petcock can/does fail.  Symptoms can be just like yours.....or it can be running out of fuel with plenty of gas in the tank.

Read this thread, and follow the link to the method you can use to test your petcock.  If you pull off the vacuum line and smell or find gasoline in the vacuum line....chances are you petcock diaphragm has failed.

That is your problem or will soon be when put a pod filter on.
Did you de-snorkle or leave the door off?
Either will drop the intake vacuum needed to operate the petcock.
It's also possible the diaphragm has failed and is leaking gas into the intake.

Turns out the vacuum line from the petcock to the carb had come loose.  hooked it back up and she is screaming once again!  Got the new raptor one on the way when needed.
