I, wonder, what the wanderings, of a Divine leader, of a group of people, have to do with anything?

Well, Muslims consider Jesus as a prophet.

Jesus travelled around with barely any possessions.

He saw a man drink from a stream using his hands, and so gave his cup away, or sold it on ebay.

Do you think he carried? Even a stick?
Did he have a snub nosed 38 in his loincloth? Or was he pleased to see me?

Has the phrase "turn the other cheek" turned into "This is my rifle. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life." ?

Did Jesus generally carry or promote the idea of carrying weapons?

Again, a 'yea' or a 'nay' will do.

Well, YES, but if you need to ask, I guess now you want me to prove it.
What happened in the garden of Gethsemane?
A soldiers ear was sliced by one of the disciples.
Do you think Jesus didn't authorize the carry?
He told them to get the swords.
IIRC, they had two swords with them.
Of course, being with the Son of God, nothing, nobody could hurt them if Jesus didn't allow it.

"Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs? When I was with you day after day in the temple, you did not lay hands on me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness".

Same Luke 22:37 .

Although the unleavened bread is beautiful.

Recipe:

First, you go to the desert, camp by an oasis, then get woken up in the night by some 'curious arabs'.
Do they rob you or do they make a small fire out of brushwood and make some coffee?
Coffee/mint tea finished, they scrape away the embers to the edge of the fire.
In goes a pizza-base shaped dough, but 3 or 4 inches thick.
Dough without yeast, covered, and I mean covered in flour, as thick as you can get it to stay on.
Glowing embers raked back over the fire to completely cover it.
Lay back and enjoy the stars, then retrieve the bread from the embers.
It will be black, but since it's mainly the flour that has burnt, a protective layer, you can scrape it all off with a knife leaving tasty hot bread.
The chances are that there was a 'modified' tin can on the edge of the fire with olive oil with a few sprigs of fresh rosemary in it.
With a mug of sahlab.  Smiley

The very sad thing is that the (alleged/traditional) place of his Crucifixion/Crucifiction and the tomb etc. looks more like a cheesy shrine to Elvis or maybe Liberace, to me.

That's not a comment on the immense innate spirituality of the place, but on commercial interests.

I think its fair to say Jesus acknowledged the realities of the dangerous world he lived in, but called his followers to a higher path. They were probably lightly armed, more for intimidating would be opportunistic robbers maybe. But he also sent them out on a missionary trip specifically saying to take nothing with them. No one knows how many came with Judas to arrest him and Peter's actions could suggest he figured they could fight their way out.

But all in all, it's a foolish question to begin with.

A better question is why do wealthy, high profile, gun control proponents hire armed guards?

Rather than use a weapon, didn't Jesus heal the guy whose ear got cut off? (not Van Gogh!)

Your intellectual dishonesty is tiresome.

He, Jesus, did heal the ear, you Do realize that in Order for Gods plan to be carried out, he Had to be arrested, right?
Your question, which you didn't like the answer to, was, did Jesus support being armed.
That's a Big Yes.

He didn't want violence against the soldiers.
The sword s weren't for Jesus, but the disciples protection.

you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs? When I was with you day after day in the temple, you did not lay hands on me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness".

Same Luke 22:37 .

Not a big fan of swords and clubs, then  Sad

He is talking to the soldiers who came to arrest him.

Aren't you tired YET?

This phrase is tiresome...
You have repeated it often enough in the past few months that it has lost all meaning and effect.
Retire it.
