And on a Cafe' bike, the front wheel throws water in your shoes and into your face....and the rear wheel throws water up your backside...including that little bit of neck exposed between your jacket and helmet!

I rode 700 miles once, in a punishing rainstorm that stretched from Northern California to Southern, on Christmas Day 1996 to go see my girlfriend and meet her parents. Her father was... unimpressed. Didn't matter, 20 years later still together with 2 kids.

LOL, well when a destination and schedules are set.... I ride no matter what the weather is.
Our Texas ride 2 years ago was a fun one.... I rode from Florida to Texas and both days had storms, but I rode anyway.
The first day I was stuck from Mobile to Layfayette, second day I was with the group and believe it was soon after we left Arts place.
Riding with a group during a downpour, there is soooo much more attention needed. You not only have to watch out for 4 wheels, you have to pay attention to fellow riders and how they are taking the weather into their style of riding.
Was fun though, I get wet I am still having a good time, until the temp drops... rofl...
