Kenny, I put a 1 1/2" layer of memory foam ON TOP of the original foam about 4 years ago. Or I should say an upholstery guy did it for $20. He even fixed a tear in the side panel. Made a big difference in the feel. hth

The Yoga mat alone is likely too stiff to make for a comfortable seat.....and most "comfy" seats have several layers of foam with different density.

The seat on my Cafe' bike is onyl about 1.5" thick - but the upholstery shop used 4 different layers of foam to make it comfortable and look right.  The bottom layer is stiff foam like the Yoga matt...and it was glued to the base and roughly trimmed to fit.  Then a second layer was added and glued to the stiffer foam base layer.  Then a third layer about 1/4" thick was placed on top...it was very soft......and finally a layer of foam about 1/8" thick was placed over the top and sides (the last 2 layers were not glued).

Kinda like Progressive shocks,, deeper you go, the harder it resists. Hmmm, that could be interpreted, naaah,, nobody Here would read That into such an innocuous statement.

Looks good. I messed around today. And don't feel comfortable molding foam and things. Ended up just putting a little peice under the front. With that and a spacer under the front bolts i dont slide. It will work untill I save up for a solo seat like the sportster. I'll do that after I check my cam adjuster. Then it's on to jets and a new rear fender.  Thanks for the tips
