Don't follow the marks on the tensioners. You have to measure from a fixed point to the centerline of the axle. The adjusters are usually off. If you don't tighten them evenly then the wheel will sit crooked in the swingarm. Basically, you'll drag the tire sideways.

okay Bot ...
...only noticeable in middle of a gear or when keeping at a certain speed. Its almost like im letting off the gas a little, then it comes back a second later...
an overtightened belt caused a power loss when under throttle? WTF???
