Posts: 1569 Arizona	Chain conversions - Primary as Final Drive ??? 05/14/16 at 10:37:02 Watching some car show tv thing and spotted a guy building a custom HD hardtail, and he installed what looked like a primary as a final drive chain. It was a WIDE monster chain and sprocket set ... looked cool anyone ever run a primary as a final drive?

Reply #2 - 05/14/16 at 12:06:29 the builder didn't change the ratios in the conversion, just the WIDTH of the sprockets and chain ... looked like he took an HD primary chain and modded it for final drive instead ...

That monstrous 1600cc Overhead Cam Engine rated at 96 HP and 100 ft lbs of torque @5600rpm! WOW!!
