According to the SN it is about 1984, but the handle should be a black something or the other. So, I really don't know. But I do know it is a cool knife, except for the broke point.

Aircraft stripper may work to remove the pain, but only if it's an aircraft on your a$$.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work on b!tches, or sons of.
