Nice day, near 80f...
Headed west,.. but, I forgot, today is the Tour de Tucson bike race... 110 mile loop around the city...
Traffic at every crossing west was backed up crazy.
So, we detoured north...
Ended up 60 miles north, and found a fantastic stretch of rode I never knew existed...
I'm gonna name it the Detour de Tucson... Grin

The mudflaps are just cut from running rubber floor mat material, bought at Ace hardware...
It's like, $4 per running ft. 3' wide...
$4 worth will make front and rear mudguards, re-sole 2 pair of boots, make cushions for your seat lift, and line yer' tool box...
Great stuff...
Comes in 3 grades
I used the thickest stuff for the flaps,... thinnest for the tank stripe and knee pads...

My bike's other major quirk, is the pedals...
(for when I need that extra boost to light speed!)... Grin
