He must have used a complete different front end then, or at least forks and wheel. That's probably overkill, honestly a 310mm single rotor is probably overkill but it sure looks neat!

I put a marauder front end on.
the forks are from a vz800, the spindle is cut down about an inch.
the front wheel is from a en500
gn400 fenders with custom brackets.

That's pretty cool! How much work did that take?

The hard part was the spindle.
it would've been much easier to farm it out.
but I did it on a HF lathe, and bought dies for the threads.
then you have to adapt wheel with a 20mm axle to a 17mm.
you can't get bearings just to swap it over, so I had a sleeve made for the bearing.
the rest was a piece of cake. hammer to fit, file to finish.

Looks nice, and I usually opt for the inverted forks, however for the build I am looking to stick with the stock fork and upgrade the springs.
This is a REALLY ROUGH draft of what I'm looking to do.

Verslagen,
Your bike is really nice looking. I would like to see more pictures and some detail on what you have done to your bike.
