Rat, maybe you don't Want to go in there, and I don't blame ya, before you decide, call around, get quotes. Read up on it. It's not really hard, it's involved, organization during disassembly is important, actually, crucial. Don't look at it as a job, but a series of small jobs. You'll save enough on labor to buy tools and have money left over. The manual, hard copy, or print off the pertinent sections,
A piece of cardboard with the outline of the head cover , X slots at every bolt location, There are tricks to stuff. Notes on things, If I'm doing a lot of stuff and the oil is out, I'll put a note on the wheel. No oil. Time Wasted on organizing and reminder notes, bolts taped together and labelled, Just take your time, Do try the Pooky on the nut and stud, But, I'm not seeing that kinda screwup not require the real fix.But it's running, just oozing oil.. it's okay. Run it, read, learn, get your confidence and tools.
