Battery replacement thread... where???
09/19/15 at 14:27:29

Looked in the tech section... didn't find anything on how to remove and install a battery.  Is there a guidance for this?

remove seat
remove left side cover (if you can't get to the negative terminal otherwise)
disconnect negative cable from battery
remove tool cover on right with key, remove tool bag
3 screws take off the battery cover, 2 on bottom, one on top.
slide battery out a bit.
disconnect positive cable from battery
slide battery out.
if there is an overflow tube, you may need to be guide that out.

done

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

Remove

Negative first

Install

Negative last

That's the safe approach.
