sorry I haven't been on here guys, I'm being evicted and I'm very busy and stressed out
I'll try to keep ya'll updated on any progress
I'm thinking of buying a used travel trailer and buying / renting a small bit of land to put it on, then work toward improving that setup

Sorry to hear such news. Hope you're able to find what you need. If you are single and in good health you might find an extended camping trip at the KOA works for a low buck place to start over from.

Somewhere, somehow this may end up being a positive change. Good luck to you!

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

So sorry to hear this Art. I hope all works out
well for you.
Just remember, when one door closes, another
opens. Your next place will hopefully be better
and bring you some fun memories.. Hugs, kim

So the landlord doesn't like bikers on single cylinder motorcycles with a muffler?
Well it certainly is an opportunity for change. Hopefully you are not sleeping in your truck (you and springman did that on the way to TN/NC for practice).
Hopefully you will find something that is a step up....or at least sideways.

Perhaps buy if possible, it's a little harder to throw you out if you own it.

Thanks everyone, I'm going to Alvin today to look at a camper top for the truck, in case i do wind up camping for a while
I have contacted one realtor about a place I could buy (payments would be far below my current rent )
I am definitely thinking / hoping to become an owner, if it means buying a piece of land outside city limits (no zoning ordinances) and putting a portable with a porta potty, genset, and such on it
I don't need much to live, being single and 48 means I'm not trying to impress women, so I can just man style it
I will get through this, and hopefully I will come out ahead for it
as far as where to camp, I got a guy here who'll let me rent a bit of his out of town land to camp on for not much money

When you get that property out of town.....you can join Planet Fitness and stop there on your way to/from work!
Where else can you get a nice clean bathroom and shower for $ 10 a month!

Sorry to hear this, Art. I hope things work out for you.
I'm with the others owning is much better than renting and much harder to throw you out.
