I had my S40 only a couple years.  I recently had to let it go because of health issues.  It was a great bike and one of the things which made it great was this site.  I guess I donated a hundred bucks or so to the site while I had the bike and it was some of the best money I've ever spent.  It saved me a ton of headaches, helped me understand things I had no idea about, and saved me from some terrible tale about a bike shop screw up.  I also added the 6" forward controls by Routy/Rich.  These suckers made a world of difference in comfort.  Great investment.  

Anyway, thanks to all the folks who make this site work and give so generously of your skill, knowledge, expertise, etc.  

There is no reason the S40 shouldn't be running in another 50 years with all the information available here.
