outlaw cash ?

What do you all think of this idea ?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/comment/11602399/Ban-cash-...

I'm not gonna say how it strikes me right now, but anyone who's read any of my posts about how much faith I have in the goodwill of governments can probably guess.

I usually pay, cash.     And I ALWAYS say:
‘Give me a 2% discount for,  ‘ Cash’.

If it is a 16 year old behind the counter,
I get the, ‘doe on the headlight look’.
Then I usually get: “Ah, Well, Gee, Um, Well, don’t know, I am told…”
And say, OK, here is my CC, which I get 2% back, and You pay 3 %  for me to use.

If the ‘owner’ is their, then I get a, “‘OK”.

Despite all the, ‘commercials’, cash, IS, faster than a  CC.

Money is evil, its a tangled  root......

It's coming folks, albeit slowly, but coming nonetheless.

Look around you, many signs prognosticate.......

Choose your belief wisely, or not.

Ever have one of those moments where you wish you could rewind the clock?
Well, this one will be final, finished. The results etched into eternity.

Seems a leap of faith ( pun intended ) to equate this story to biblical proportions, but does not a journey of a thousand miles start with a small step?  Kiss

... and that's why they want to end it.

Let me ask this, to all who feel comfortable enough to answer.
How much liquid currency do you keep at your home?

I keep 200 dollars. It has covered a tow before when I needed cash, every once in a while it covers a pizza. How much is enough?

This is a scheme by politicians (liberal ones I'm sure) to get more of our money....However, I rarely use cash. I will go out of town for a week, go from one side of the country to the other and have maybe 5 or 6 ones in my wallet I use for tips. Otherwise, everything is paid by plastic. Still, I would not give cash up.   All that would do is create a black market which is one reason governments want to do without it. I refuse to titled my motocross bikes because as soon as I do, I have to pay personal property tax on them every year and that's BS. I was going to buy me a small 100cc motorcycle or so for short trips around the neighborhood, but I'm going to get 49cc scooter because in Missouri, you don't need to title or license a 49cc. Uncle Sam gets enough of my money, he doesn't need anymore.

If you charge something on your CC,
And someone owes you money for something.
Have them write a check to your CC.
Does not matter if it is more, than what you need to pay on your CC,
They will hold the + Balance.
They will NOT pay intrust on it,
but that does not matter, the intrust lost,
is far less than the, TAXES, that, ‘would be’ charged.

Alternative, they write you a check,
you put it into your bank account,
then you write a check to your CC company.

( Is someone gonna ask;
“WHERE did you get that money from?” )

Maybe, you have something that someone else wants,
and they have something that you want,
It’s called,  ‘Barter’.

Maybe you ’trade’, your labor,
for something’ ?

The, Government want’s,  NO CASH, so they can, TRACK, everything.
To illicit, TAXES, to pay for the, ‘government’, programs,
that, GIVE,  Free Housing, Free Food, Free Healthcare, Free Education,
to those, who, ‘vote’ for them.

You DO KNOW, why, the Big bills, have been redesigned, Twice, Right!
You DO  know, why their are no more, $500.00 or, $1,000.00 US Currency bills, Right !

If you have ‘paper’, cash laying about.
And you don’t need it ,’’now’.
‘Buy’ Gold or Silver US coins with it.
(Wore down, smooth, docent matter,
as long as it is recognizable as, a ‘coin).
Don’t pay extra for, numismatic value.
When the SHTF, you won’t get it back.
