Gonna have to figure out how to cut it below the fin and remove it in pieces.

Is there a way to remove a section of the cylinder fins to open up the front of the cavity so we can brush stuff out without damaging the engine? Can't tell from pictures and far away from bike to go look. just asking.

and...

I saw something in the tech section about how to cut off the long bolt and replacing it with one down from the top to a nut. somewhere.

I have one of those info-mercial triangle blade sander/saw deals that I think will get in there and cut the bolt between the fins. I just do t wanna damage the fin in an attempt to not remove the head cap. If I can't do it without damage I'll take it off. I just got a full gasket kit so I have the replacement gasket for it.
