I think it is funny when you look at the aerial view on Google, then switch to street view and the cars on the street are all different...or in different places.  Sometimes even entire buildings have been built in the time span between the aerial/street photos.

Google Maps Street View drove past the house circa October 31, 2014.  Garage was close.  Aerial view 90 degree and 45 degree caught my Vespa parked next to Wendy's Rod:

 
That Camaro has been seen in Gardena for over 25 years, looking the same, same rusty primer, same white fiberglass scooped hood.

Looks like they do a drive-by about every other year, and aerial every 4-5 years.

It happened to me about 4 years ago when I was on the way back from lunch at work.  If I remember correctly, it took about 4 weeks for the site to update with the new pictures.
