DISSEL fuel

This is why Alabama gets made fun of.  In Opelika, AL, this is what I found when I stopped at a gas station.  They sell the following fuel types:
a) Regular
b) Premium
c) DISSEL

At the old McDonald's in Newport, KY about 15 years ago.....the lane where you go to get your food while still in your car had big yellow letters on the asphalt that read:  DRIVE THUR

Dang, I guess the other six days of the week that lane was closed?

I drove past this sign several times before I
realized what I was actually reading.
Even professional sign makers can screw them up.

Spellin' int so portant... Huh...

I was a paid scriptwriter for a while,... before the age of spellchecks.  ...and had a senior moment, where I forgot how to spell... "with"...

Whigth?.. wigth?... hwith?... hwigth,....weith?...
Somehow,.. I just wanted more letters in there...  Huh...

I even looked it up in the dictionary, and thought, "No... that can't be right... not enough letters"....  Undecided...
With?... really?... noooooo....  can't be... Tongue...

Seriously...

Ever since I have had chemo treatments, I've had problems with typing words , reading words and phrasing what I want to say.
I have to read every post two or three times so I know i'm not misspelling things if the spellcheck doesn't catch it.
I'm even having problems with what I call "what is it" moments....
Yesterday I was lost when trying to explain a thing a guy was wearing on his ear to my wife.... yeah an earring... I could tell her what it looked like and where it was hanging, but I could NOT think of "what" it was, total blank, I could picture it in my mind, but simply could not say the word.
I feel like porky pig, stuttering and then changing what he is talking about mid-sentence to another description (only I don't stutter).
I have to think of different phrases or meanings to get my point across.

Back to the word thing.... yeah.... a lot of times I look at the words I print and say "that ain't right".... I even have a link to websters dictionary online to make sure i'm spelling stuff right....well sometimes...I don't always check, just when I want to look intelligent. Cheesy

No chemo for an excuse here. I have to explain around things all the time. I KNOW what I'm trying to say, but the Right word or phrase just won't come out...

Glad to know I'm not the only one with this problem and no excuse.
