Are the bolts holding the Fender Struts to the fender the bolts that I have seen mentioned when changing tires?

Somewhere on the forum I have seen something about replacing the hex head mounting bolts with Button Head Allen Bolts. Since I have to remove one of the struts to put on a new turn signal I thought I would change the bolts if they are the ones referred to when going to a slightly bigger rear tire.

I picked up the sizes from the link that you posted.

"M8-1.25 x 25 for the short ones.  The longer ones it depends on if you have the side rails that support the sissy bar.  They will be M8-1.25 x 40 or 45."

It is the Fender Strut Bolts that some times need changing for larger tires.
