Get the battery charged up.
I know, it turns over,, get a volt meter and test the battery voltage, less than 12.3, charge it, if the battery is old, pull it, check the water, haul it,have it tested.
The cam? Extremely unlikely.
Start with basics, fuel, air,spark..
I hope you read every word of every reply..
You ARE due a cam chain check. It's a close decision.. Without knowing what shape it's in, kinda scary. I don't know what you can do,, experience,tools,etc..
Any kinda mechanical experience at all? Cars?
It's difficult to work on the bike because of where I'm living. According to management, I'm not supposed to work on vehicles in the parking lot. However, I do get some time to do some work. Because it's been sitting for a while, I'll dump all the gas and make sure the battery's good.
After reading posts on the cam chain, I feel like I need to at least check it soon. I don't have a lot of mechanical history but I can follow directions pretty well.
