I think the metallic orange and black is a particularly good looking factory finish, and probably helps with visibility as well.

Having been here about a month, I can tell you this is a great forum and resource. Read the stuff in the  Tech Section, run search terms in the search box, and it is amazing how almost any issue with the bike has been worked out, worked around, cheap mods developed and otherwise dealt with.

It takes a while to figure out how to look and where to look for info, but wow, it's in this site. And gradually you end up with a very good running, dialed in bike, and you know more about it than many dealerships. Or let's say their mechanics may be factory trained but you know all this other shade tree folk know-how that really helps, saves money, makes the bike "yours."
