Thanks springman, I wish I'd done better on some of those, but that's why I'm not a pro photographer  Grin
Last I saw MMR he was in good spirits aside from the ride being over
thanks for the go ahead Old Rider, my lifting buddies will love them

Trip for me was 1,637 miles + what ever we rode while we were there.... wowwie!
I didn't think I had it in me... now to fix the leak for good (still leaked and i used 1 quart for the trip back home). I'm going to get a digital speedo for the savage and get the ninja ready for the dragon again.
Oh... and i'm going to re-do the savage, take off the monster back pack and sell it to mod another way.
Ok, the wife tells me I need to sleep now...LOL...  Roll Eyes

Man, it looks like y'all had a blast. I was stuck working Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. This trip fell on one of my work weekends. Sad Really, really wishing I could have joined y'all. If y'all do it again, I will try my darndest to join up for the whole trip. The pictures look amazing! I recognize some of the places myself, and I'm glad y'all got to see those parts of Texas, thanks to youzguyz.

Keep riding safe everyone! Remaining hopeful of this may happen again so I might be able to be a part of it.

I'll figure out what we did on the day rides.  Does anyone want to see the actual routes taken?

I'd love to, including the main focus of each day
I know for example we did the devil's backbone, but not sure just where that was (I assume the twisty bit with the development going on)
and I can't for the life of me remember the scenic loop's name, to tell my co-workers where I visited

1st done was repair, I had a sticky rear brake cable the entire trip.
drop the axle, slip out the spacers, slip out brake hub.
r&r shoes, arm and shaft.
it was really stiff.

another interesting issue...
on the drive into texas, it rained hard enough to lift the clear coat off the tank.

The scenic loop was Willow City Loop... and I'll get to work on those maps this evening.  2 days of vacation made work go all kinds of ugly wonky  Angry

Welllll.. those tins looked to be about due for a rattle can treatment anyway.   But, that would ruin the character!!

Can you put the videos there too?
