I don't have an SO, but my ex and my friend gary are both in my phone, and i don't lock it
still, might be a good Idea to have a list of all out emergency contacts available to the group
and if you can ride in a light rain, I will do so also, just hope it doesn't really slam us lol

I just went through a dang mini-hurricane from Destin Florida to Navarre Florida.... I would estimate we had about 10" or more in less than an hour... I was on the high side of the road and was up to the middle of the case in water Shocked
LOL, my goggles were fogged so bad I could only see the van in front of me.... it was ok though, because we were stop and go for 20 miles..... the roads were severely flooded.... since it is flat down here the water takes forever to dissipate.
My only worry will be that the rain will slow us down and make the day longer....
LOL, I tell the wife i'm not sugar so I won't melt, but I will shrivel when wet and cold..... she gets a laugh outta that   Roll Eyes Huh Grin

MMRanch and Old Rider, I am not too concerned about the Texas rain for you, my concern for you is the potential Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana rain. Good luck to you all and don't press too hard on the ride. We have plenty of days to ride the hill country.

P.S. Do you know a savage "gurgles" when in water over the exhaust? I thought I was on a jet ski for a few!
I'm sure the old lady behind me got a laugh! until I blew up a cloud of water!  Grin Grin

Just got to thinking, emergency numbers.....does anyone want to keep track of those? I usually keep my cell phone locked, but have a paper in my wallet (stuffed inside somewhere) with numbers so if I loose my phone at least i'll have the numbers to call.
But if something should happen.... we need to be able to call a significant other.... so someone should be the "other number keeper" eh?
Is that a good idea, or a bad omen thing? Or perhaps we could all keep a number in our wallets just in case?

Yes, we should gather all the pertinent emergency contact info.  I have some info for MMRanch, verslagen1, and Art Webb BUT, it would be best if everyone PM's me your contact info again (include email address), then I will gather it all together and email or PM it back out.
What should be sent:
Name
email address
Street Address
Cell#
Phone# & Name for emergency contact

I should be hearing from:
verslagen1
Art Webb
MMRanch

springman

atomikchicken has left the forum, and nobody else has stated any further intent.

So, send in those cards and letters!!!

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.
