Early Geezer   checking in !   Wink

Tried the Tent under the headlight today ... worked great !  Smiley

Set-up time on the tent was about 30 mins. and so was take down and packing it back into the bag. (windy day here in TN ).  but I did spray it with Water Repelant while I had it up. ! Cool

seems like the more I check-off the "Bucket List" , the longer it gets !  Grin

Yeah, I sprayed mine again today for leak proof and insect proof along the bottom.... but I probably won't even whup it out... if yours is bigger, I say we use it and i'll help you set it up...that way it will take us only an hour.... LOL... Cheesy

I better program my GPS for the burger king there near baton rouge and highway um... 111? I'll have to look again...
Then i'll program it for Columbus tx?
And another favorite will have to be Kerrville.... but I don't know the address to that campground.... maybe I should ask?

I can't imagine me doing anything without a gps anymore.... heck I'm glad it has a "HOME" setting...

Whupped out my old stainless mess kit, only to find all the innards gone... so I got a wallyworld one, maybe i'll see if I can melt it! I can't find my stainless cup either! LOL... was a day that I always had it strapped to the motorcycle, I used it on the flightline for my coffee or hot chocolate, thought I had it on my shelves in the computer room, full of pencils and stuff....but no.... its like my mind... gone... LOL Tongue Tongue

ONE WEEK NOTICE!!!!

The long range forecast, as unreliable as it is, is looking good!
http://www.wunderground.com/q/zmw:78028.1.99999

Really looking forward to this.   Cheesy
I'm relying on the "veterans" (MM Ranch and old rider) to guide us (or at least me) on how a proper Savage get together goes.  Kinda nervous about committing a deadly faux pas.   Embarrassed

Yeah, it's a sorry wildflower patch, but it was on the way from work to home, not many options in 5 miles.

5 miles to work. Wow, I am jealous. My ride is about 35 miles each way. However I do try to ride the bike at least one day a week, which is fun. I come in to work a bit later than most and leave a bit later than most so I really do not ride in the heavy rush hour traffic and on occassion I actually have the HOV all to myself.

I've been keeping my eyes on the weather forcast for the area also. It is looking good right now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have no rain gear so think I am going to water proof my mesh jacket, my windbreaker and a pair of jeans. And a pair of gloves also I guess.

Please don't rain!!!

Which one??  The Guadalupe is a very long river.  There are "riverside park"s all along it!!  As a matter of fact, the Guadalupe River will be right outside the mini-cabin door!!
I'll need more info for this one!  Grin

Go to Wallyworld or Harbor Freight and get something cheap and light.  Look in the camping section.   Anything is better than nothing.. sometimes.
You can put that on under (or over) your mesh.
