Yup, if he paid for the new blower motor I bet we could get it running for him .....

Who else has made an attempt at communicating with the folks so they know their noisy fan is upsetting their customer base ??

Yes, it is a small thing, a minor irritant -- but unless you make the effort to tell them they may not realize it even is an issue.

And, if you don't tell them, you have no room to complain at all if it isn't fixed.

I would be most apt just to tell Phil when we are there.....if it hasn't been fixed by then.  It may have already been repaired (I doubt it).  He would be a lot better off to convert the exhaust fan to a squirrel cage type fan - they are much quieter than the propeller fan that is on there now.  I wonder that with all the campers that have been there, and the grumblings I have heard from the campers.....if anyone has ever complained to Phil about it?  Maybe we could even post a small donation box in the bathroom to create a "Fan Replacement Fund" !Grin

For the folks in the cabin it is not an issue....and I suspect that our tents will most likely be put up near the cabins if Phil allows camping in the front of the cabins.  I may even end up out in the parking lot near the road if I sleep in my enclosed trailer.

A thought -- Verslagen, did you offer to pick Serobot up on the way to the East Coast?

I always enjoy reading his responses when he is offered the chance to take part in the multi-annual high mountain road human sacrifice event.

This looks like a comfy tent for our bike trips, but how would you strap it on the bike and still have room for yourself ?

Good idea; have the butler go on ahead and set up the camp; start the BBQ; ice the adult beverages ... I could get in to this !!  Smiley

We got some new guys on other threads saying they are coming to the trip --- do they know that they have to come on this thread and sign up?

If you see people like Donwannapickle saying they are coming to this trip make sure you tell them to come up here and sign up.

Wed June 10th - MMRanch staging visitors from the far West.
Thur June 11th -
Fri June 12th - Pack up and head to Blue Ridge Campground   Oldfeller and Dave already there in cabin #4...Stewmills is arriving in the evening.
Sat June 13th -
Sun June 14th -
Mon June 15th -
Tue June 16th - Oldfeller's body's likely shot  -- heading for home
Wed June 17th - Pack up and head home.

Posted above is what I believe is the current schedule and attendance roster.  Don't know for sure if anyone has had success contacting Phil and reserving Cabin 4 (for Lancer and Verslagen).  Tent camping does not need reservations - if you want a cabin it does.
(Wonder what Phil would charge to put up that Tashma Hall Tent)?

If you have information to update the schedule or your attendance....chime in.

Thanks for posting the schedule Dave .   Tuesday the 16th CMA southeast rally in Hiawassee Ga. starts.   I've got a camping spot already and will have my tent with me too.   If anybody wants to come along then the party don't have to end Wednesday the 17th. !   Roll Eyes   I've only been to a state rally once before but basically its :
Biker games (goofy but Fun  Grin )
Camp Fires and such   Wink
Praise meeting every evening  Cool

Smiley   I can have more than one tent on my site too.

MM, are you proposing we pick up the tent on Tuesday and move to Hiwassee GA for the CMA rally?   Or wait until Weds?

This is only 92 miles away from the Blue Ridge Campground and it is "mostly" on the way back for MM, Lancer and Verslagen.   It is well within our normal sweep radius .....

I would peel off at that stage, being all leg and back shot and all used up after 4 days of constant fun.   Dave will speak for himself if he thinks it is a doable thing.   Lancer and Verslagen will likely see it as a good thing as it is on the trek back towards home.  Plus, after 4 days at the Blue Ridge we will have seen and done it and the surrounding areas pretty well.

MM. entice us with what the boys and girls will be doing at the CMA rally ......  free food and beer?   Nekid women dancing on stage?    What?

PS, MM you need to plan to bring your blow up the air mattresses blower thingy

Lancer, did the guy at the Blue Ridge ever call you back?

CMA Rools & Regulations

RULES OF THE ROAD
✔ Safety is a priority, please drive
slowly and be aware of one way
directions.
✔ NO ATV riding on the grounds.
✔ Follow all instructions from traffic
directors.
✔ Trailer and vehicle parking available
in designated areas.
✔ USE CAUTION when riding on the
grounds. Be aware of children and
pedestrians!

Now I might find it somewhat amusing to buzz on up the entire very long line of ponderous hurleys in the middle of whatever adventurous curvies they might get into, but beyond that I would certainly be a piranha fish out of water ....     and you'd get blackballed for bringing me.
