Plan to bring a bathing suit -- I wanna go slide down Sliding Rock and see at all them young girls a giggling (and check out their yummy mommies). I mean really, it is even on the same road as the campground and only 20-30 mins away. We never do seem to make it into the water, now do we?

#4 & #3 & #2 from the front seem to be having a bit of grabby thing going on there, don't they? "You said we wouldn't get our hair wet !!!!"
Never mind about your bikini suit bottom getting rubbed & washed off by the water flow past yer butt either ..... some of you girls will be hiking yer drawers up when you get up out of that swirly pool down at the bottom.

I'm just offering to share a campsite for a couple days , but I don't use an air mat. I am kinda obligated to go to Hiawassee for at least a couple days. My wife'ee is going to be stretched to her limits. The 10th through the 21st filled with bike meets ... Roll Eyes

. I suspect I should cut the Hiawassee part short and head for home the 19th or so ? Undecided

I'll see how much buttering-up I can do before then . Huh

How about we follow the river road (best we can ) and just go to that (pictured) deck in Helen Ga. according to Google its only 75 miles from Robinsville ! Sounds like a nice "Day" Ride to me . Wink

2hours easy each way with a break in the middle ! Roll Eyes

There was BBQ place just north of Franklin we found by accident one year - Well just north of that we cut through a National Forest (river road) on the way back to Robinsville , That turned out to be a good ride too.

So many places to go and so little time !

Best I can tell is I'm bringing an air mat inflater Cool

Wife and I stopped there in Helena when I had the Road Glide...on our first dragon trip in 2010. Tourist trap town...we got there a day before a big bike rally. A few diehards were there along with the vendors... nice bunch of folks, stayed at a "german" themed hotel that the owner was from my birth town of Quincy, Illinois and he gave us a discount. They have an octoberfest there that is legendary, or so the hotel guy said.
And yes... I road the DRAGON in the RAIN on a big ol' Harley!

jiggle fest starts at 2:50 --- not too radical but it shows that the bumps are there.

If you have a bad back I would not go down it, so I propose to do Sliding Rock on the way home in case I whack my back out some I can crawl into the car and drive home .....

The rest of my CMA bunch is going to Hawassee on Friday after we all head home on Wednesday . that will work out good for Me, Lancer , and Versey Cool

! We could even spend the day Thursday popping "2-Lt. water bottles off the side of the hill. Wink
