Want to try a 10" ape hanger bar, I have read that if you have the buckhorn style bars you don't need to extend the control cables. If this is so, is there a design (z bars) or a pullback limit to when this is no longer possible?

Fella could have some beer, shoot some pool, have a good time, no gettin crushed by or lost in a crowd..

You can put up to 10inch apes without having to change cables if you started with buck horns. It is a slightly snug fit though. I did it when I still had the FireLizard.
