Installing new electrical switches
08/17/14 at 13:14:31

I'm planning on installing new handle bars and when I do I want to install all new electrical switches.  As of now, I'm planning on having a 3 way switch on the left side for the blinkers and a 2 way switch for the high/low beams and a kill switch on the right side.  I am thinking about installing all the rest on the battery cover.
Can anyone offer any recommendations?  What types of switches I should use?
I have a 2008 s40.  The latest wiring diagram I found was for 2004, will it be the same?
Thanks.

I would leave the horn button on the handlebar as well.

No, there's a change in the wiring that makes a 2004 harness incompatible with 2005 controls.

Thanks for the feedback.  Any tips on how to locate the newer diagram?
