Correct Jetting?
08/11/14 at 17:00:13

I rejetted my 06 today.  It has been running well, but not as good as I think it could.  Can you offer some insight?

Dyna muff
KN drop-in
700 ft elevation
Always humid
80 degrees today, usually hotter this time of year
52.5 pilot
from 145 - to 150 main

I took it down the road afterwards and it ran smoother; although, less responsive.  Not necessarily bad, just a lot different.  Also no popping or gargling as well.  It pulled just as hard in 3rd & 4th, just longer.  I know this is a balancing act, but does this seem close?  What should I expect from MPG?  Thanks for your insight.

For your elevation I'd keep the 52.5 and a 150 main

due to the K&N it might want a 55 pilot, dyna is pretty baffled so I think 150 should be perfect..

Im in Ny so elevation/humidity and temps are pretty close

My bikes runs great with a 52.5 and a 152.5 but I have the stock intake box on and a MAC muffler which is pretty opened baffle

If I run a cone filter I automatically throw in a 55 pilot to run well

Serow, I followed your thread in the tech section.  Incidentally, it was well written and easy to understand.
