removing battery box/engine mounts
08/01/14 at 20:33:22

I'm working on some mid controls and would like to remove the mounting brackets that hold the battery box and also provide one engine bolt mount.
Can you take the battery box out, knock the engine bolt out with a rubber hammer and then wiggle the brackets themselves out? Or do they only come out as part of an engine pull?

Yes and the bolt comes out no problem.

you'll need to take off the pulley cover.

Thanks.
yeh they just fell out of place. Wanted to get the welded nut grinded off so I can mount some plates from the back rather than from the front as Ryca do.
