on the road and the problems start
07/22/14 at 19:06:28
So I got my bike going good adjusted my valves and got my oil changed. I took today off to put my bike on the road and put insurance on it(which was a GIANT hassle) finally got home and my father and I were gonna take our bikes out. My bike didn't wanna start and I thought my motor was seized. I took off the cap on the left side of the motor to check and there was gas mixed with my oil. It all came pouring out. So I drained it all and its sitting all apart now. Finally what would cause my gas to get into my crankcase like that??

The original vacuum operated petcock has probably failed. Fuel flows down the vent hose, and drains into the engine.
You most likely need to switch over to a Yamaha Raptor 660 petcock (not the chinese copy)....and real Yamaha Raptor 660 petcock.
Check your petcock......Look in the Rubber Side Down....4 Simple answers to 4 most common.....or something like that.

When you get the new petcock installed you'll want to change the oil. There is a good oil thread in the tech section, you'll want to use the right stuff because your clutch and gearbox have to swim in it as well as the engine.

I already have switched to the raptor petcock. I already got it all fixed. I took my carb apart and found some dirt in the bowl. I believe the needle valve for the float had some dirt in it and did not seat properly and allowed gas to flood into the engine

So....you didn't turn the petcock to "OFF" after the last time you had the engine running. Maybe this will help you remember?

A little bit of dirt can ruin your whole day.
that's what a petcock is for, insurance against the unseen.
