Because you can go down to the shops and buy one brand new. It's only the old ones that are second hand. It's a brand new bike that's been in production for 30 years.
Saw a comparo on youtube between the new Royal Enfield GT and the SR400. It's in German but was fun to watch. The 400 is down on power, cornering clearance and style. Still a cool bike tho.

He said every USA dealer is being issued one for the year. It is TINY. Decent build quality from looking it over, but, if you have more than about a 30 inch inseam, you'll hate it...
