Stoning women is not the backwards custom of a backwards People, it is the
Word of God as given to Moses,
(Leviticus, 20:10 - BOTH are to be put to death)(John, 8:1-11 oddly, there is no mention of the MAN who committed adultery)
Unfortunately, someone oh-so-wise thinks that "Jesus spread the Word and now we are forgiven".
Unfortunately, not so.
In the episode nararted in John 8:1-11, Jesus said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone"...
and they all left.
Hence,
no-one, in Jesus' eyes, is entitled to judge a case of lust, as we are all subject to lust.
Back to the case of the Pakistani woman.
That is not a case of Islamic Law, any more than burning witches is a case of Christian Law.
No siree, it is a case of local customs and traditions, as applied by King Charlemagne when he conquered the Saxon Tribes Tribes and,
mimicking an illustrious precedent by Bishop Boniface, burend down all sacred centenary oaks in the Sacred Forest,
and offered "
conversion or death" to the "pagan" Saxons.
Unsurprisingly, most Saxons remained true to their Lord and God, Thor, and preferred death to apostasy.

I quote:
"
In his first campaign, Charlemagne forced the Engrians in 773 C.E. to submit and cut down the pagan holy tree "Irminsul" near Paderborn"
Religions of Peace ? Buddhism, or the Monotheistic Incas (who were wiped out by Catholic Spaniards...
)
Jesus said "Blessed are you because you believe..." John 20:29-31 but NEVER EVER said a word against those who would not believe...
...or, quite simply, against those who would remain true to their own religion...
Think about it
