If I put any more pressure on, the cast perch will break in two. Any ideas? installing new handlebar. BTW, have riser extensions no longer needed, yours for postage.

Does suzuki use loctite? put the mirror/perch in a vise and reefed on it. zero movement. will try the oil though.

I would recommend penetrating oil first. Then put your wrench on the flats and (however you can) put vibration and a little torque on the wrench, kinda' like an impact wrench with far less force. Screws used in aluminum threads get oxidized and stick like red LocTite. Sawing off the mirror stem to get a socket on there to use vibration will be cheaper than replacing a master cylinder. A little heat may help, but vibrating is my choice for stuck stuff.

If ya have an empty "Zoom OIl" with the red tip still on it.. good. That stuff will evaporate, Gotta shake it before use.

What penetrating oil have ya tried? Remember, an impact breaks stuff loose better than just torque. Put the wrench on it & spank on it with another wrench, while holding as much torque on it as ya can w/o risking turning the bike over,
