I think my bike does sound weird

Howdy, all.
After seeing a similar thread I thought I would seek help with the sounds the motor makes on my 2001 LS650 (22k miles, supertrapp muffler, other mods unknown but every nut and bolt has tool marks). I'm entirely unfamiliar with single-cylinder engines, and to me it sounds like a rough-idling lawnmower.
The video is here:

Thanks to anyone inclined to have a listen, and I apologize for the sound quality and for not taking a longer ride. There were tech and safety issues limiting my capabilities, there.
Also, before anyone lights me up for not getting a look at the timing chain tensioner yet, the plan is to wait til I can buy a versy and just replace it while I'm in there. That'll be a couple of weeks, and the bike isn't being ridden in the meantime.
Thanks again for any input.

Sounds normal to me.
Idle is about right, mebbe a tad fast but well within "range". Better there than too slow.

That is a load off my mind. If it was a lawnmower I wouldn't even worry about it, but it's already my baby. It would suck to blow up my baby.

Not a word. I even coughed up the buck to send a message to a stranger on facebook. I figure I'd have to get in at that cam chain tensioner eventually regardless of what he tells me, so I'm not too worried about it.
