Springtime Ride

I went out for a ride today and the weather was wonderful, low 70’s not a breathe of wind.  I saw a lot of bikes as well.  A whole bunch of Harleys (not one waved back to me), three Can-Ams (they waved back), two trikes, and one S40 (mine).   I also saw something I never seen before.  Two guys on sport bikes were going interstate speeds and one waved, and the other picked up that front end to a 45 degree angle while going 70.  Anyway, it was a good day and hopefully we’ll all get in some good rides soon.   Smiley

I am about a week away from having my bike back together from the winter painting project.  We have had a few nice days....and today it might get up to 70.  We do however still have a lot of salt and crud on the roads.....the road crews put a lot of salt down before the last big storm that never showed up and the salt remains.  Tomorrow we are supposed to get snow and a night time low of 14 degrees so that salt already on the roads will help to keep them from getting too slick.  I am going to wait for the first heavy rain to wash the salt off the roads before I head out on the Savage.

I just got back from a ride to Sebring, FL (5hrs each way) stayed a few days, had to work on my cousin's Suzuki (he paid me)..

Was cold going south but saw LOTS of bikes, my blood has thinned from living down south so long. I had more clothes on me than in the saddle bags  Grin
