The Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky has a sinkhole swallow up 8 unique Corvettes yesterday.

Looks like it dried up down there and some spelunking is possible!  Hope to see some videos from those caverns below the building.... maybe they could have a "corvette cave museum" ! Smiley

I think they should cover the floor with a clear plastic layer and leave the opening underneath. Just anchor the building floor in the area and show what it looks like beneath the building and put some replica corvettes in the hole, THAT would be awesome!

I actually sent an email to the building manager about the idea... lets hope it catches on!

Call me crazy, I'm not a real Corvette fan, but a million dollars worth of Corvettes in a hole is a shame...hope none of 'em were on loan   Undecided

Actually two of them were on loan from Chevy corp headquarters... six of them actually got swallowed and Chevy corp has said it will "professionally refurbish" all six of them for the museum.
That's a from the new plant manager during an information press release today.
