You could probably get just about any manual petc0ck to work with enough modifications to the tank.

The raptor is a bolt-on replacement.  No changes to any mountings, hoses or anything.  Just unscrew the old and screw on the new.

The Raptor is recommended because it's inexpensive, well made, durable, and easy to install...
Other pet's may work... but none that we know of, meets all of those criteria in one package...

You can try to reinvent the wheel if you like, (I tried twice)...
... but, the Raptor is a no-brainer... all the gamble has been done...
It fits,.. it works...

Just put my Raptor pet on today
not only am I happy to not be riding on pri all the time, but apparently at least part of what I thought were carb problems were pet issues

Unsolvable carb issues are many times pet related issues.
