Handle bar mounted Tach

Has anyone tried installing a Tach onto their savage if so what Rach did you use. I was hoping on finding a tach to mount onto my bar but have had no luck finding one for our motor.

Baron build a lovely instrument and you pay for it. There are a variety of cheaper ones on EBAY. Remember we use a wasted spark system on our S40/Savage so lots of dual fire tachos' will fit. There is a thread in the tech section on Tachometers known to work on the Savage and hopefully Verslagen or one of the experts can direct you to it. Heed the advice about white face black numerals, my one regret is not buying one like that.

I spent quite a while researching and finally getting a tach for my bike. Here's the thread I posted with my research...

I got my tach and speedo from Dime City Cycles, they were easy to install as well as easy to read with no issues from vibration.   Cool

I went to school on what Toes did with the Dime City gear with a few twists. Find his original thread. It is a great tutorial.
Good hunting
