Well if you're going to splice it, at least do it right. Go to a site like this: http://www.hvccycle.com/electrical-connectors.html and get a good set of connectors. You might be able to find some at your local radioshack or autozone, too. Try to reuse the old boot if you can. If you can't find a connector set with enough pins, remember you can also get weather resistant spade/bullet connectors and just do some (or all) of them one at a time.

Whatever you do, do it right the first time. Wink
