After market turn signals (Read 173 times)

pg Serious Thumper Offline Posts: 5273 In Transit	After market turn signals 10/19/13 at 18:00:37 Does anyone make after market turn signals that work with our bikes. The left rear turn signal is broke and it will cost $80+ shipping for a new pair from cheap cycle parts. I will also check the marketplace board here as well. Thanks.

There is nothing that I know of that is a "bolt on" fit. Most everything needs to be adapted. Be wary of the LED turn signals that have about 7-14 little LED lights....they are not DOT approved and they are barey visable in daylight. You can see them if you are looking at them - but they will not get an inattentive driver to notice them in daylight.

Watch eBay or the Marketplace on this forum for a replacement stock TS.

Go to Cycle Gear or any independent motorcycle shop. Look in the catalogs from Western Power Sports, Parts Unlimited and Tucker-Rocky. Bikemaster makes replacements for almost every rice-a-nese bike from 1972 onwards. If the head isn't broken, new stems are all of $12 each, Emgo, Bikemaster and several other suppliers. If the entire unit is junk, new one from them should be about $26-28...
